Rise and Shine Sale.A.Bration

Hello all, I do hope this finds you well.
This week I have been thinking about how much I value chatting to friends whilst having a cup of tea or coffee. How I  have taken these times for granted in the past, the ability to meet up in a coffee shop and catch up with friends and their latest news.
I am so grateful at present for modern technology and that although we can't physically meet with friends we can virtually and even still have a cuppa at the same time!
So this weeks stamp set is the rise and shine available whilst Sale.A.Bration 8s still going. Last day 31.3.2020 to get yours.

I have used rococco rose, blushing bride and lovely lipstick as the colours for inks and papers.
The embossing folder is the corrugated 3D that from the annual catalogue.
The dies cup of cheer from the winter catalogue but are still available catalogue  no.151150
The small bloom punch is  from this years Sale.A.Bration 1 leaflet.

If you would like to purchase any of the products seen here please press the links to the catalogues and purchase via my on line shop.
I would love it if you could make a comment in the comment section below.
Many thanks for stopping by, continue to enjoy crafting, keep safe.
Hugs and blessings

Botanical prints product medley

Hello everyone,
I do hope that you are keeping well in these very difficult times that we are facing. One thing I find that is helping me is spending time crafting and sharing with others my projects and also seeing theirs.
Today I have used the Botanical prints product medley set from the current mini catalogue product no. 151301 this set is great value as it includes stamps, dies, papers and embellishments.
The papers can be coloured in as well which helps it to be even more versatile in your cardmaking and papercrafting.
This week instead on one design I am putting a couple of photo collages in to show a variety of cards that can be made. Enjoy.

I would be grateful if you can add a comment to my in box.
It is still Sale.A.Bration time until 31.3.2020. Today some additional products have been added for the  last week.  Please go to the link and order from there if you would like to make a purchase.
Until next time hugs and blessings for you.

Easter Promise

Hello again,
Sorry I am a day later than usual this week. I do hope in these difficult times that you are keeping safe and well. It is at times like this we see how much people care for one another and how community spirit comes to the fore. I am praying for you and if anyone needs to chat via social media please contact me via my messenger or email. I would love to chat even though I can't be with you physically.
This is a time where we may be able to spend more time being creative, instead of wishing we had more time! So let's take the opportunity, enjoy and stay positive.

This week I decided to join in with a challenge from the Paper players. I have seen others who have joined in this and thought it would be a fun thing to do.
The remit for the challenge is clean and simple, minimal layers, white space, uncluttered and spring flowers.

I love the crocuses that are in the Easter Promise stamp set so I used them for my floral element. They were stamped onto whisper white card stock, coloured using highland heather, daffodil delight and granny apple green blends. The flower picture was then die cut using the stitched so sweetly dies from the mini catalogue. The daffodil yellow cardstock was also die cut using the same die set. I did heat emboss the sentiment with gold. It was w very quick card to make and assemble. I did add a few gold metallic Pearl's to complete the project. For me it was s challenge to keep it more simple but this is the result.
Until next week
Hugs and blessings
Ruth

Flowering foils paper 2nd release Sale.A.Bration 2020

Hello everyone,
I have heard more than enough of a certain virus that is about ! So to take my mind off the worries of this I have turned to my love of crafting. As I write this the sun is shining and I can see the beautiful spring flowers that have appeared in my garden. Absolutely Beautiful. So I thought flowers will be my theme for this week's blog.
Today I have made a  very simple but effective card using the Flowering foils paper, this can be easily coloured using the great tools we have available. I used brayering on the base layer and dabbing on the flowers.
A stamped sentiment heat embossed with copper and cut out with a stitched so sweetly die, a piece of copper trim and some champagne rhinestones to complete. The ink colours are mint macarons and Rocco rose.
The papers are available in the Sale.A.Bration 2nd release which offers you free products for a £45 spend or multiples of £45.
If you would like to order please follow the links on this page or contact me. I am happy to help.
Hugs and blessings
Ruth

Beautiful moments

Hello again, I do hope that your weekend went well. It was so lovely to see some sunshine in our corner of Essex on Sunday and Monday. It makes such a difference to all the recent wind and rain.
Seeing the sunshine made me think of the summer and I turned to the beautiful moments stamp set from the mini catalogue currently available. Warm summer days and the special times we share with others.

This week I have gone for doing some stamping and adding backgrounds using the masking technique. On the first card I used a brayer and the second card, a dauber.
The dresses on the lady and the girls were the same stamps stamped onto floral papers, cut out and layered onto the stamped image. This brought back fond memories of childhood and dressing up paper dolls ( those of you of a certain age will remember this 😀)

Please feel free to ask me questions by messaging in the comments box or if you would like to purchase from stampin'up please use the link provided.
I would love to hear from you, constructive feedback welcome.
Until next time hugs and blessings,
Ruth
