Christmas inside aperture card using perfectly plaid

 Hello again

It seems such a long time since I last posted. Unfortunately I managed to catch covid 19 so wasn't up to much blogging at the time. I have still not fully recovered but am managing to do some crafting now and again.

I trust you are keeping safe and well.

Today I am going to share with you the card I made at my Inspiration Wednesday Class recently.

Thank you to scrimpymommy who gave me the idea for this card. I adjusted it slightly to use  A4 card rather than 12x12inch cardstock so mine is slightly narrower. The card fits flat into a C6 envelope, then can be opened into the box shape once out again.

Hopefully be back again soon
Hugs and blessings

Poinsettia Petals Bundle

 Hello again,

It's been a little while since I last posted on my blog. Time has flown by but that does not mean I have been idle. In fact I've been very busy prepping my classes for the next 3 months. Yes!! it is the lead up to Christmas. It seems strange that I am still working on line due to the covid virus and that I am also planning Christmas in a very hot Autumn in the UK. My card today is the one I did for a recent team swap. You will see a little similarity with my last post in August.

I love the new poinsettia place stamps and dies as well as the whole suite!

This card is not complex so good for a beginner stamper or for making batches of cards.

For the card base I used Misty Moonlight card, a layer of seaside spray and then an embossed white card( using the winter snow folder)

I then stamped some firs using misty moonlight, berries with highland heather and cut these out using the poinsettia dies. Followed by some silver foiled berries and poinsettias and one out of a scrap of purple posy cardstock.

The circle is cut from the stitched shapes dies out of seaside spray cardstock, the sentiment is stamped in misty moonlight and snowflake background is seaside spray.

once the project was assembled I added some of the beautiful adhesive backed snowflakes.

I have added some of the links for products used but please go to my on line store for further supplies. I would love it if you could shop with me.

Please use the current host code if you are purchasing an order under £150 to receive a small gift from me. If you are going to be spending more then please speak to me or consider joining my team. I would be delighted to have you on board.

Until next time

Beautiful Autumn

Hello, I trust those of you in the UK who have recently endured one of our hottest ever weeks are now feeling cooler and more up to getting back crafting again. I know I definitely am.

I have even noticed how many of the leaves are starting to fall and the evenings drawing in!

I couldn't quite bring myself to share a Christmas project with you this week ( nearly did! ) but opted for a more autumnal theme.

I made this card to show at my Autumn/Winter stampin'up catalogue launch. It is the beautiful Autumn  bundle from the gilded autumn suite. I have also added one of the lovely gold hoops from the annual catalogue to make the wreath for this card.

The base is a very vanilla thick cardstock, the first layer is soft suede and the top layer is very vanilla cardstock embossed using the tasteful texture 3D embossing folder.

The colours used  for the leaves and acorns were early espresso, soft suede, Cajun craze.

The little acorn trinket comes from the gilded autumn suite. The ribbon form the annual catalogue ornate garden suite.

Tasteful Touches slim line card

Hello again, It's been a while since my last post, various things have happened and a spell of extremely hot weather has slowed things down a bit. However I have a delightful bundle to share with you today from the stampin'up annual catalogue. I did a challenge with a couple of other stampin'up demonstrators local to where I live in the UK to make a slim line card. Also I decided this week to join in the paper players colour challenge using, mango melody, melon mambo, night of Navy and pool party. the colours help to bring the card to life. there are background images stamped directly onto the card and then I have stamped the flowers and feathers to fussy cut to place onto my card using dimensionals.

The sentiment is form the same set as are the dies to use for the sentiment. A piece of ribbon and sequins form the whale done suite has finished off the card.

thank you for taking time to look, please leave a comment in the box below.

Sailing home

Hello,
Today I am sharing my latest post.  This card started as a challenge between fellow demonstrators for a starburst/ sunburst card. I chose to use the sailing home set and used the papers from world of good and the new in colours, cinnamon cider, bumblebee and misty moonlight. The reason for using this stamp set and colours was that I wanted a more masculine style thinking of you card to send to a friend,
I opted to spread my rays out to show the cinnamon cider card underneath.
I am pleased with how the card looked at the end.

Please take a look a https://craftyhunnypots.blogspot.com/ as Natalie set the challenge and did a beautiful card using the peony suite.
Until next time hugs and blessings x

World of good suite

Hello and welcome to another blog post.
Today I am taking part in a blog challenge with the paper players.  The challenge is the PP497 sketch challenge. I have opted to use the world of good suite for this card.
I have used crumb cake cardstock as my base care, layered with dsp from this suite, I have also used the new old world paper embossing folder which gives the cinnamon cider cardstock a rumpled look. The dies were used for the topper, globe and scroll, The sentiment is from the Beautiful world stamp set.
I often struggle to find ideas for a more masculine style card but this set lends itself to that. It is also good for a traveller or to use for scrapbooking.
Thank you for taking a look. Please leave me a comment it really does make a difference.

Arrange a wreath

Hello again,
I do hope this finds you well. With the sun shining and the brightly coloured flowers that are out I decided that I would do a bright design! So for this  I have been trying out the new arrange a wreath bundle from the current  stampin'up catalogue. I opted to use water colouring before die cutting some of the elements, flowers and hearts. I have not used this technique for some time and it was good to do again.  I also used the new stacked stone large background stamp for the background for my card.
This set is very  versatile and covers several special times, Easter, Christmas, love and giving thanks as well as other occasions. The  stamps and dies go very well together.

For my card I used Smokey slate, soft sea foam, just jade and magenta madness

If you would like to purchase any of the items used then please click on the images and that will take you directly to the on line shop.
Thank you once again for popping by
