Beautiful You and my meadow

Hello to you,
I don't know about you but I have discovered so many areas around my own town that I had never known about before. My hubby and I go for a walk nearly everyday and have discovered some beautiful areas, we 've heard birds singing, including a cuckoo, we've seen loads of butterflies, glimpsed wild deer we 've watched the plants grow, trees blossom and seen fish and eels in the river.
It just reminds me what a beautiful world we live in.

So today I have decided to use a stamp set from the annual catalogue 'beautiful you ' and a couple of stamps from my meadow in the mini catalogue. My lady is dancing in the countryside.
I am joining in the paper players clean and simple challenge this week so the card also has some sparkle, the copper layer and wink of stella on the dress and hat.

Thick whisper white cardstock front embossed with subtle folder
Copper foil card 10 x 7.5cm
Whisper white card 9.5 x 7 cm

To a wild rose

Hello again,
Week 4 of our lock down in the UK! Not that I'm counting 😄!
I am enjoying my walks by our local river, seeing everything coming to life, blossom on the trees,  birds singing, fields becoming green. Nature is wonderful and can bring us joy even in our current situation. Even in town the birdsong is definitely louder.
I hope you are able to enjoy glimpses of nature around you too.

Today I  am going to use a stamp set from the annual catalogue.
I decided to use to a wild rose.  For one card I  have stenciled through one of the pattern party decorative masks and the other I have used the  Artisan textures stamps for the background.
The colours are highland heather, gorgeous grape, mossy meadow, crushed curry. I have also used the subtle embossing folder ( one of my absolute  favourites🙂) on the single rose card

All these are  still available whilst stocks last until 2nd June as well as items  in the mini catalogue.

If you would like to order anything including some additional products now added to the clearance rack please use the shop button on this page.

Keep well and safe and until next time
Hugs snd blessings

Wildly Happy

Hello friends,

I trust you are keeping well. I am sure you like me are concerned about the current virus situation. I am glad that I can spend time crafting to take my mind off of what is going on for a time.
This week I am joining in the paper players blog hop. The theme is' a day at the zoo'

I love the zoo and have spent many happy times at Colchester zoo, which is not far from where I live, with my grandson. We have seen every type of species, gone in different directions around the zoo, fed animals, photographed some and ourselves ! Played on the cimbing toys, had picnics and lots of fun.
Feeding the elephants is one of the things we have done so I chose to use these as the focus for my card today.

I have used the wildly happy stampset for the elephants, very Versailles for leaves, my meadow for the grass and the sentiment from animal outing set.
For the background i used the stampin'up sprinkles, such vibrant colours, the elephants were stamped in black and coloured using blends.

All of the items used can be found in the stampin'up catalogues, there are links to these here on this page. Stampin'up is still operating at present so if you would like to purchase some items follow the links to order then they will come straight to you.

I would love to hear your feedback so please put a comment in the box below.
Until next time.
Hugs and blessings
Ruth xx

Rise and Shine Sale.A.Bration

Hello all, I do hope this finds you well.
This week I have been thinking about how much I value chatting to friends whilst having a cup of tea or coffee. How I  have taken these times for granted in the past, the ability to meet up in a coffee shop and catch up with friends and their latest news.
I am so grateful at present for modern technology and that although we can't physically meet with friends we can virtually and even still have a cuppa at the same time!
So this weeks stamp set is the rise and shine available whilst Sale.A.Bration 8s still going. Last day 31.3.2020 to get yours.

I have used rococco rose, blushing bride and lovely lipstick as the colours for inks and papers.
The embossing folder is the corrugated 3D that from the annual catalogue.
The dies cup of cheer from the winter catalogue but are still available catalogue  no.151150
The small bloom punch is  from this years Sale.A.Bration 1 leaflet.

If you would like to purchase any of the products seen here please press the links to the catalogues and purchase via my on line shop.
I would love it if you could make a comment in the comment section below.
Many thanks for stopping by, continue to enjoy crafting, keep safe.
Hugs and blessings

Botanical prints product medley

Hello everyone,
I do hope that you are keeping well in these very difficult times that we are facing. One thing I find that is helping me is spending time crafting and sharing with others my projects and also seeing theirs.
Today I have used the Botanical prints product medley set from the current mini catalogue product no. 151301 this set is great value as it includes stamps, dies, papers and embellishments.
The papers can be coloured in as well which helps it to be even more versatile in your cardmaking and papercrafting.
This week instead on one design I am putting a couple of photo collages in to show a variety of cards that can be made. Enjoy.

I would be grateful if you can add a comment to my in box.
It is still Sale.A.Bration time until 31.3.2020. Today some additional products have been added for the  last week.  Please go to the link and order from there if you would like to make a purchase.
Until next time hugs and blessings for you.

Easter Promise

Hello again,
Sorry I am a day later than usual this week. I do hope in these difficult times that you are keeping safe and well. It is at times like this we see how much people care for one another and how community spirit comes to the fore. I am praying for you and if anyone needs to chat via social media please contact me via my messenger or email. I would love to chat even though I can't be with you physically.
This is a time where we may be able to spend more time being creative, instead of wishing we had more time! So let's take the opportunity, enjoy and stay positive.

This week I decided to join in with a challenge from the Paper players. I have seen others who have joined in this and thought it would be a fun thing to do.
The remit for the challenge is clean and simple, minimal layers, white space, uncluttered and spring flowers.

I love the crocuses that are in the Easter Promise stamp set so I used them for my floral element. They were stamped onto whisper white card stock, coloured using highland heather, daffodil delight and granny apple green blends. The flower picture was then die cut using the stitched so sweetly dies from the mini catalogue. The daffodil yellow cardstock was also die cut using the same die set. I did heat emboss the sentiment with gold. It was w very quick card to make and assemble. I did add a few gold metallic Pearl's to complete the project. For me it was s challenge to keep it more simple but this is the result.
Until next week
Hugs and blessings
